Summary: U 2540 Type XXI U Boat Model kit
Comment: This is a fairly simple kit. Two hull halves, two conning tower halves, etc. Deck detail is mostly recessed areas. The periscopes are nicely detailed. Strangely, half of the conning tower has two pieces to its construction, whereas the virtually identical other half is just one piece. Pieces are molded in hard, grey plastic. The hull is two sections and quite long so get out the rubber bands for this kit.
