From the supplier: Bar code printing technologies are improving as more and more customers require food companies to provide bar codes on shipping containers. Buyers are becoming more exacting with bar coding requirements, requiring that bar codes can be read by scanners practically 100% of the time. Inkjet systems have been previously problematic because the ink bleeds into the corrugated substrate, rendering the code to be unreadable. However, new high-resolution inkjet printing systems have become available with 99.9% readability.
