From the supplier: Rexnord Corp. used Goodway Technologies Corp.'s VAC-2 wet/dry industrial vacuums to address its coolant contamination problem in its Seal Operation in Wheeling, IL. Contamination and bacteria growth in its coolants were traced to chips and fines that settled in unseen or inaccessible parts of the company's computer numerical control lathes and machining centers, such as behind machine guarding and cover plates. Vacuuming the machines' interiors was scheduled two or three times a week, resulting in the disappearance of bacteria, longer viability of coolant and reduced wear on the machines and tooling.
