Summary: Very good but...
Comment: The book is very good and provided a wealth of information. More maps and maps of more detail would have been helpful. Fire support base "Sun" in III Corp occupied by the 199th Light Infantry in the summer of 1970 was not mentioned. Very good book for further research!

Summary: Very Disappointing - Returned
Comment: I was very disappointed in this book, it was written in atlas form and the maps were of poor quality. I would be concerned about the accuracy the first and only item I looked at, Hill 488, was not accurate. With that said, the author did put a lot of work into the book.

Summary: As a Vietnam Combat Vet
Comment: I have been researching fire bases and locations I served at in Vietnam in 1968 & 1969 and with the help of this book have found the locations of some areas I couldn't find before! What is amazing is it gives the grids of them to help you find the exact location along with facts about them. Although this might not have 100% of the locations, it is the best book I have bought in a long tme!
